I decided to make a
Model Of the Day post. I won't make one
everyday, but when someone caughts my eye or I find something really inspiring, so that it actually
makes my day.
For the first model post i chose Chanel Iman Robinson, better known as Chanel Iman.
She's born in Atlanta, Georgia on the 30th of November 1989, therefore she turns 19 this year. Chanel is Korean and African-American, which gives her this incomparable look.
2006 Chanel won the third-place runner-up in Ford Supermodel of the Year contest, which is the beginning of her modeling career.
Today she is running for famous designers like Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Christina Dior, Lacoste, DKNY, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Valentino and lots more. There is nearly no designer who hasn't booked her so far.
I love her personal style and the way she combines clothes and accessories. She often goes for the
baggy on top and tight on bottom look, what I go for myself, too.
She wears a lot of black and white or one colored dresses for parties and events.

At Gap's Design Edition Launch on April 14, 2008.
I love how she combines a white men's chemise with an elegant black blazer and plain plack leggins. That outfit is so simple, but so in style.

With Iman at Barneys New York Nights of Stars Pre Party on October 24, 2007.
Here she works a dark grey-bronish plain dress with a striking necklace and black peeptoes.

With Irina Lazareanu at the Vogue/Gap Party on April 17, 2007.
This is one of my favorite dresses on her. The white color of the dress looks amazing on her tan skin color. I also adore the way she wears her hair curled.

After Moschinos fashion show in Milan, Italy in February 2007.
Even after a long fashion show she doesn't look exhausting. She can so pull off those jeans and the black blazer over a black shirt with a huge silky bow.

At the Celebration for Patrick Demarcher in April 2007.
Chanel looks fabulous in this baggy aquamarine dress. She wears a ponytail so the color of the dress and the oversized necklace pops out.

After the Marc Jacobs fashion show on September 11, 2006.
I especially like how Chanel works casual stuff like the plain leggins and flip flops with a classy jacket. This ones a good example for her exclusive black and white style.
