let's look back at kilian kerner's show for spring summer 2012: it was all about pastel colors. this time the designer focused on bold knit items and dark hues like black and brown, i really liked the chunky male scarfs which were worn to plain suits. none of the female models had high heels on, instead they walked in black leather brogues. honestly, those flat shoes looked a little weird combined with a long evening gown. and i was expecting kilian kerner to present something more colorful after his great spring summer collection.

the first thing to say is that i was totally cofused after this presentation because i could not understand at all why dietrich emter did not have his own show on the runway. he presented a lot of different pieces, which were elegant and flattering over all. i especially liked the simplicity of the dresses and blouses, it was nice to see how a popping color could make a plain shirt look exciting. in addition, dietrich chose dark colors like a matt black for his leather pants or a deep purple for tulle tops. it was totally different from marcels show for instance, you could barely spot any prints, but the collection definately was very special.

let's start with one of my favorite shows i've seen last week. marcel ostertag killed it like always. his theme "golden muse" already tells he used a lot of golden toned materials all over his collection. furthermore you could spot greys, greens and blacks plus the mix of every kind of prints and patterns you can imagine. marcel proved the fact that norwegian coats work with brocade pants, feathers and fringe applications. for keeping yourself warm on a cold day, just throw on a pair of simple black tights: the models did not show one outfit with bare legs, which i think is fundamental for a fall/winter collection.

i went crazy last week and purchased so much new stuff, i ordered a ton of clothes online and returned most of it. so these are the leftovers ;) the bag with leopard print fur is by zara, the headband, clutch and both pullovers by h&m. last but not least, the sneakers are converse of course!

this semester kilian kerner presented his label as quite simple and elegant at his ss 2012 runway show in berlin. everything was about two and three toned, pastel colored suits and dresses. most interesting had been the long evening gowns, usually in one plain color or with a touch of glittery sequins, plus the fact that there werent any patterns to spot at all. i liked that every piece was cut pretty straight and basic so that really everybody is able to wear this collection.

let me introduce you to the absolute best show i have seen in berlin ! marcel ostertag's ss 2012 collection rocked the runway with long and flowy dresses in rusty colors, tight yellow pencil skirts were teamed up with silky blouses. i definitely could imagine wearing those loose trousers plus open toe heels out for some nice summer nights next year. every piece of marcel ostertag's creations gave the models a whiff of elegance, the beautiful updos and heavy statement necklaces underlined the classy style. the upcoming summer we will be able to carry a lot of stuff with us, thanks to the amazing huge leather bags which marcel has designed. no question - the highlight of the show was marcel himself walking down the runway wearing heels plus one of his creations and a bridal bouquet ! what a show !

these are only a few bags filled with nice gifts we got at the fashion week. next time im gonna bring a trolley to carry all that stuff, seriously ! it does not look pretty much on the photos but it felt like a ton ! i especially took loads of fashion magazines with me, they were all for free indeed ! laurèl gave out nailpolish and hair care, and marcel ostertag even designed a bottle of scavi & ray prosecco. now tell me you wouldn't want to keep that as a souvenir !

don't shoot the messengers are known for their all black outfits and again sticked to this principle in their spring summer 2012 presentation. i love wearing black so i was amazed how much diffenrent styles the designers were able to create using just one plain color. here and there you could see a hint of grey and white but black definitely ruled the show. moreover, DSTM went for casual but outstanding make up and hair styles: most of the models wore long and wavy hair plus a touch of mascara combined with bright red lips and nails.

patrick mohr's runway show of his spring/summer 2012 collection was so exciting, it actually gave me goosebumps. it wasn't like the others shows we saw at all: the models did not rush over the runway in high heels but wore rubber socks and moved pretty slow and stiff while hard electronic music was played. patrick mohr used many natural materials, even his bags, which were worn as simple back packs, were made of cotton and linen. regarding the colors, you could sight earthy browns, beiges and pastel shades besides basic hues like white, grey and black. furthermore all of the clothes presented appered really comfortable, the cuts had a loose fit and reminded me of streetwear and casual sports clothes.

i just came back from my trip to berlin and duesseldorf. fashion week was so amazing, we have been to 6 shows in 2 days which was really stressful but exciting ! here are my favorite picks of laurèl's collection for spring summer 2012. as already seen on their inivtation, the collection is full of snake leather prints, i loved the shiny hot pants in the seventh picture. combined with a black piece, the snaky look doesnt seem trashy but elegant and interesting. and guys i have to tell you, color won't be out of style next year ! you could spot bright red and yellow leather pants and turquois soft pieces in this collection, but also many other designers used dazzling colored materials for their creations. laurèl's collection had a saint tropez theme and therefore the models also presented big hats and short onesies. by the way, laurèl was the only show i saw starting off with a video. well done !

now that it gets warmer and warmer (finally !) i'm looking for a few new summery pieces. this zara peeptoe heels work fine with everything, even sweatpants. they always give my clothes a touch of elegance. though they are really high i find them pretty comfortable.
i bought the black bandeau bikini some months ago (i think it was march) because h&m's swimwear always sells out really fast. i'm so looking forward to taking it out for a swim !

though it seems like the sun is shining in the first picture, it has been rainy for the last week.

it's almost june and i don't want to wear my topshop fake leather jacket anymore.. i love it a lot, don't get that wrong ! but i wore it since october straight and i think its time for summer now!

at the moment i'm going for ripped and cut off jeans, you can see my h&m one at the top and the other black and white one is by only. they work pretty good with the topshop short jacket and make me feel a bit more summery.
